    Position Description:

    Overview The Quality Engineer (QE) will collaborate with a diverse team to optimize system configurations, streamline business processes, and ensure the overall efficiency of our in-house software. Acting as a link between clients, our US-based project and development squads, and our offshore QA teams, we seek individuals who can guarantee top-notch quality, consistency, and precision in designing solutions that align with client requirements. This role involves various tasks such as reviewing requirements and design documents, creating and executing test cases, managing defects identified during testing, and overseeing onsite and offshore QA support. It offers significant exposure to internal executives and external clients, promising extensive career advancement opportunities within a long-term project.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
    • Analyze quality assurance needs and document test cases/scenarios across client accounts.
    • Manage all testing activities, including reviewing reported issues, handling modification requests, and confirming fixes.
    • Coordinate testing and deployment of client application releases.
    • Oversee tactical testing aspects and develop testing strategies and plans.
    • Collaborate on testing for Projects and Operations Support.
    • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and offshore QA teams to address solution fixes, create test plans, and run test scripts.
    • Supervise offshore QA teams to ensure accurate and thorough manual and automated testing throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide on-site client support and ongoing training.
    • Support system cutover on-site.
    • Assist Project Managers and QA Directors in managing scope and commitments on fixed-price contracts.
    • Offer root cause analysis of test results to drive continuous improvement.

    Requirements

    • 2-5 years of experience in QE Testing (Manual & Automation) and Test Data Management.
    • Ability to engage with clients at all levels.
    • Experience in test case design, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), and Gap analysis.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Keen attention to detail, with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Aptitude for developing use cases and tracking test outcomes using standard management tools.
    • Solid grasp of relational databases.
    • Familiarity with JIRA software and exposure to Retirement Systems are advantageous.
    • Experience with Agile methodology is beneficial.
    • Proficiency in Automated Testing tools (Selenium).
    • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
