    About the role

    We are looking for a skilled Performance Tester specializing in Locust to assess websites and applications' performance under various conditions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing using Locust. They will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize system performance.

    Position: Performance Test Engineer

    Experience: 5 to 10 Years

    Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

    What you'll do

    1. Develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies based on project requirements.
    2. Design and execute performance tests using Locust to assess system performance, scalability, and reliability.
    3. Analyse test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization.
    4. Collaborate with developers and operations teams to implement performance improvements and resolve issues.
    5. Monitor system performance in production environments and conduct periodic performance tests to ensure ongoing optimization.
    6. Create detailed performance test reports and documentation for stakeholders.
    7. Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and trends related to performance testing.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    2. Proven experience as a Performance Tester with a focus on Locust.
    3. Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
    4. Proficiency in designing and executing performance test scenarios using JMeter.
    5. Experience in analysing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks.
    6. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Groovy is a plus.
    7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    9. Relevant certifications in performance testing are preferred.
