The person in this role would direct and oversee our Marketing department. He/she will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals.


Roles & Responsibilities
As an EVP - Marketing & Ecommerce, you will be responsible for


Marketing & Business Development:


  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
  • Set current and longterm goals for internal teams
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO and founders
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Partner with other members of the executive team to execute the company's strategic plan, and to develop future plans
  • Lead the marketing and sales team to drive revenue growth in existing channels
  • Own all retailer relationship activities
  • Maximize customer reach and marketing efficiency
  • Drive aggressive business growth across all customer segments and profiles
  • Improve the individual customer experience together with Product Management
  • Build and foster creative teams committed to continuing our culture of innovation
  • Monitor the revenue forecasts, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth

E-commerce:


  • Lead or supervise delivery of consulting services to crossfunctional client teams
  • Engage with clients to identify key strategic challenge(s) and offer solutions
  • Provide recognized thought leadership and points of view (including white papers) on Digital strategies and consumer experience including eCommerce, Social Media, Digital in retail
  • Provide assessment and vision of the ideal 'consumer experience' by defining key capabilities that differentiate clients and meet consumer needs define crosschannel implications and opportunities, define impact to brand
  • Position our industryleading products (Plantix Partner, Plantix Doctor, Partner Dukaan) in an industryleading way
  • Partner with IT to deliver all site development phases from concept to launch
  • Own visual merchandising of the WEB storefront
  • Sets vision and strategy for holistic and seamless shopping experience for plantix across all digital channels
  • Leads and manages site experience, content, operations and visual merchandising team with focus on building a high performance team who thinks endtoend and is committed to flawless execution

Education & Experiences

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business Administration/business management.
  • A Master's degree in Marketing/Business Administration/business management would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 12 years experience in a Digital Marketing leadership role
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in ecommerce company in leadership capacities
  • Prior experience in an Agritech / Food Tech / Ecommerce company would be advantageous.
  • Proven trackrecord across all key functions required to drive and implement revenue growth in a marketplace or ecommerce business
  • Proven experience developing and executing business strategy
