Roles & Responsibilities

  • Creating character profiles, story outlines, and plot outline
  • Collaborate with other team members such as game designers, artists, programmers, producers, and audio engineers
  • Creating dialogues and scripts for all characters in the game
  • Writing dialogue, narration, and subtitles for ingame cinematics that are used to advance the plot of the game
  • Writing the game's story, including character development and plot resolution
  • Reviewing drafts of other team members' work to provide feedback and ensure that all elements are consistent with the game's theme
  • Creating storyboards, sketches, or other visual representations of scenes in the game
  • Reviewing and editing work to ensure that it meets established standards for grammar, spelling, and other conventions
  • Ensuring that the game's narrative supports gameplay and vice versa
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written documentation
