Safety Officer (High Rise Building)

Experience:
1-5 years in high rise building safety management

As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures for our high rise building projects.

You will work closely with the Senior Safety Officer and project managers to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures specific to high rise building construction projects.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Provide safety training and orientation to new employees and contractors working on high rise building sites.

Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings with project teams to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.

Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and other safety documentation for high rise building activities.

Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper safety equipment is provided and utilized on site.

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.

Stay informed about changes to safety regulations and industry best practices related to high rise building construction.

Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures in the event of an accident or emergency situation.

Qualifications:

1-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in high rise building construction.

Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and ANSI.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate others.

Attention to detail and the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer-based safety management tools.

Salary:
₹30, ₹45,000.00 per month
