Job Description:
Located at Jio World Drive in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) area of Mumbai, is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Steward to join their team.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Assist customers in choosing menu items and provide recommendations.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
Table Maintenance:
- Set up tables with the necessary cutlery, glassware, and condiments.
- Ensure tables are clean and properly arranged for the next guest.
- Clear tables and reset them for the next diners.
Food and Beverage Service:
- Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and professionally.
- Ensure accurate delivery of orders and address any special requests.
- Monitor and refill water glasses and ensure customers' needs are met.
Knowledge of Menu:
- Familiarize yourself with the menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Be prepared to answer customer queries regarding menu items.
Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, including table settings and dining areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Billing and Payments:
- Present bills to customers and handle payments accurately.
- Provide customers with a smooth and hasslefree checkout experience.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff, including kitchen and bar personnel.
- Assist colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Steward or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverages is a plus.
- Punctuality and a professional appearance are essential.
- Must be adaptable, reliable, and a team player.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards is a plus.
