We are currently seeking a highly skilled ProC Developer with 4 to 10 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ProC programming language, Unix/Linux environments, SQL databases, and C++ development.

As a ProC Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using ProC, Unix shell scripting, SQL, and C++ to support critical business processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

ProC Development :

Design, develop, and maintain ProC programs to interact with Oracle databases and perform database operations efficiently.

- Write and optimize SQL queries embedded within ProC code to retrieve, manipulate, and update data stored in Oracle databases.

- Implement error handling, exception handling, and transaction management in ProC programs to ensure data integrity and reliability.

Unix/Linux Development :

Develop Unix shell scripts (e.g., Bash, Korn shell) to automate system tasks, file manipulation, and process management.

- Deploy and maintain applications on Unix/Linux platforms, ensuring compatibility, stability, and performance.

SQL Database Interaction :

Utilize SQL to create, modify, and optimize database schemas, tables, indexes, and views to support application requirements.

- Perform database tuning, optimization, and performance monitoring to enhance query performance and reduce response time.

C++ Development :

Develop and maintain C++ components, modules, and libraries to extend the functionality of existing applications or build new features.

- Integrate C++ code with ProC programs and Unix shell scripts to create comprehensive solutions for complex business problems.

Application Maintenance and Support :

Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for existing ProC applications, Unix scripts, and C++ components.

- Investigate and resolve issues reported by users, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :

Create technical documentation, including design documents, code comments, and user guides, to facilitate understanding and maintenance of ProC applications.

- Share knowledge and best practices with team members, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship to junior developers.

Collaboration and Communication :

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and system administrators, to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, discuss technical solutions, and address concerns.

Qualifications and Skills :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in ProC development, Unix/Linux scripting, SQL database interaction, and C++ programming.

- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, file systems, and shell scripting languages.

- Experience in C++ development, including object-oriented programming concepts, memory management, and multi-threading.

- Familiarity with Oracle database management system (DBMS) and Oracle PL/SQL is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Self-motivated with a passion for learning new technologies and solving challenging problems.
