Fashion Apparel Buyer Merchant


Job Summary:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select fashion apparel products that align with our company's brand and target market.
  • Analyze fashion trends, sales data, and customer preferences to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices, payment terms, and product quality.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product delivery and to stay uptodate on industry trends and developments.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Ensure that all fashion apparel products meet quality standards and customer requirements.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in fashion apparel buying or merchandising in a retail or ecommerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, design, and product development.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with inventory management and forecasting.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹60, ₹700,000.00 per month
