Job description

Design and develop tooling used in the production of rubber products, including molds, dies, and fixtures.

Develop and maintain 3D models and CAD drawings of tooling components and assemblies.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify tooling needs and ensure designs meet production requirements.

Develop and implement tooling maintenance plans, including preventative maintenance and repairs.

Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement necessary repairs and modifications.

Develop and implement tooling improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Maintain accurate records of tooling maintenance and repairs, including parts used, time spent, and work completed.

Manage tooling inventory and procurement, ensuring that necessary components are available for production needs.

Develop and maintain relationships with tooling vendors and suppliers.
