    Description

    Job Summary :

    • We are looking for an experienced UFT Test Lead with 7 to 10 years of experience in software testing, particularly with expertise in UFT automation tool.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing concepts and methodologies, along with proficiency in creating and adopting automation frameworks from scratch.
    • Knowledge of Gitlab, Agile methodologies, and ALM/Jira is essential for this role.
    • The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be capable of effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
    • The role requires a selfdriven individual who is willing to learn and can act as a single point of contact for business knowledge queries.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Strong Testing Knowledge :

    • Possess a strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

    UFT Automation Tool Expertise :

    • Demonstrate expertise in UFT (Unified Functional Testing) automation tool, including test script development, execution, and maintenance.

    Gitlab Knowledge :

    • Utilize knowledge of Gitlab for version control and collaboration in the software development lifecycle.

    Framework Development :

    • Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch or adapt existing frameworks to meet project requirements.

    Manual Test Case Creation :

    • Translate requirements into manual test cases and scenarios, ensuring comprehensive coverage of application functionality.

    Issue Debugging and Reproduction :

    • Debug issues identified during testing and reproduce them as needed for analysis and resolution.

    Agile Methodologies :

    • Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint retrospectives.

    ALM/Jira Knowledge :

    • Utilize ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and project management.

    Communication Skills :

    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively discuss and resolve testing issues with team members and stakeholders.
    Self-Driven and Willing to Learn :

    • Take initiative and drive testing activities independently, while also demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

    Reporting to Higher Management :

    • Communicate the overall testing status, progress, and issues to higher management, providing a clear snapshot of project health.

    Business Knowledge Queries :

    • Act as a single point of contact for business knowledge queries, providing insights into the feasibility of requirements and explaining reasons for infeasibility.

    Qualifications and Experience :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • 7 to 10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on UFT automation tool.
    • Strong understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in Gitlab, Agile methodologies, and ALM/Jira.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Selfdriven individual with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
