    Job Description :


    As a Manual Test Lead at [Company Name], you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle by leading the manual testing efforts for our projects.

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop test plans, execute test cases, and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.


    Responsibilities :

    Test Planning and Strategy :

    • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and timelines.
    • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.

    Test Execution :

    • Execute manual test cases to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues.
    • Document test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
    • Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of new releases and updates.

    Team Leadership :

    • Lead a team of manual testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
    • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.
    • Conduct regular meetings to review progress, address challenges, and foster collaboration within the team.

    Process Improvement :

    • Continuously evaluate and refine testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and coordinate with the automation team for test script development.

    Quality Assurance :

    • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle and ensure adherence to established quality standards.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (X years) in manual software testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
    • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
    • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
    • ISTQB certification is a plus.
    • Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is desirable.
