Position-: Safety Officer

Job Location-: Satpur-Nashik

Experience-: 0 to 3 Years

Educational Qualification-: BE/Diploma/ITI Mechanical and having completed Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety

Key Responsibilities:


Health and Safety Compliance:


  • Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures in accordance with local, regional, and national standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and noncompliance issues.

Waste Management:


  • Develop and implement waste management programs that ensure the proper handling, disposal, and recycling of waste materials generated during manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with waste disposal vendors to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices for waste management.

Environmental Monitoring:


  • Oversee environmental monitoring processes to track emissions, noise levels, air quality, and other potential environmental impacts.
  • Analyze monitoring data and prepare reports for management, highlighting any deviations from established environmental standards.

Incident Investigation:


  • Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and nearmisses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and track the implementation of corrective measures.

Training and Education:


  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to educate employees about health and safety practices, emergency response procedures, and environmental responsibilities.
  • Promote a culture of safety consciousness and environmental awareness throughout the organization.

Emergency Preparedness:


  • Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring that employees are adequately trained and equipped to handle emergencies effectively.

Risk Assessment:


  • Conduct risk assessments for various processes, machinery, and work areas to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety inspections, training sessions, incident investigations, and environmental monitoring.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on safety and environmental performance.

Salary:
₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
