Primary Responsibilities:
o This position requires a highly competent, self-directed individual who can help shape processes and define testing standards.

o Design, develop, and execute automated tests using JavaScript frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, or Nightwatch

• Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness o Strong knowledge on developer tools like Chrome Dev/Firebug.

o Strong knowledge on modern AFT tools like Selenium Web Driver.

• Strong knowledge on deployment practices into Production environments and Jenkins pipelines in including

Jenkins DSL to create and modify pipelines.

• Knowledge on HTML5 and CSS and modern web development technologies.
• You understand the importance of not only testing but also reporting, especially in the context of CI/CD

• Produce status reports, prioritize bugs, and contribute to Sprint planning sessions.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor in Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech Degree) with 7+ years of experience in developing/scripting automated functional tests in JavaScript.
• Interested in expanding your history of mentorship and guidance into a leadership role.
• Experience with JavaScript programming and frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, or Nightwatch
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and practices
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr is a plus
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
• Familiarity with software configuration management, release management and database manipulation like git, bitbucket, Jenkins etc.
• Strong knowledge on modern cloudbased development practices in AWS/GCP and container native technologies like docker.
• Highly proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver and manage deadlines in an agile development environment.
