    Description

    Job Title: Project Management - Team Manager

    HCL Tech

    Job Role Summary:

    As a Team Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the performance of the teams led by your team leads and individual contributors reporting to you. You provide guidance, support, and feedback to the team members, collaborating closely with them to enhance performance and successfully complete projects. Identifying opportunities for organizational improvement, initiating changes, and managing complex programs are key aspects of this role. Your ability to leverage your expertise for the development of your teams is crucial.

    • 12+ years of total experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management within the IT industry.

    Job Locations: Gurugram, Noida, Bangalore

    Shifts: US Shifts

    Workplace: On-Campus Role

    Important Note:

    • Applicants must have relevant experience in project management.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately or have a shorter notice period.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Manage all project escalations and governance lead functions.
    • Drive organizational initiatives.
    • Lead and support the team.
    • Offer feedback and guidance to employees.
    • Provide governance coaching to multiple workgroups.
    • Act as an executive point of contact for customers.
    • Ensure successful completion of business-critical projects.
    • Assist project managers in communicating functional and operational goals.
    • Provide coaching and support to project team members.
    • Lead organizational transformation and oversee complex programs.

    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to handle escalations and provide status reports.
    • Strong time management and priority-setting skills.
    • Proficient in data validation, coaching, and mentoring.
    • Familiarity with management methodologies and tools.
    • Experience with MS Office, Google Suite, and project management systems.

    Education Requirements:

    Minimum Bachelor's degree

    Professional Certifications:

    PMP from PMI or Prince 2 Practitioner
