Responsibilities:


Video Editing:
Edit and assemble raw video footage into a polished, visually appealing, and cohesive final product.
Trim and fine-tune footage to create seamless transitions and ensure the logical sequencing and pacing of the video.


Creative Input:
Collaborate with creative teams to understand project goals, objectives, and creative direction.
Contribute creative ideas for video content and stay updated on industry trends and editing techniques.


Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard tools.
Ensure all editing equipment and software are up-to-date and in good working condition.


Quality Control:
Review and assess the quality of edited videos to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.
Make necessary revisions based on feedback from stakeholders.


Asset Management:
Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of footage.
Maintain an organized file structure for easy collaboration among team members.


Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members, including videographers, graphic designers, and content creators, to ensure a cohesive and integrated final product.

Effectively communicate and incorporate feedback from team members and clients.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in video editing.
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
• Understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to projects.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
