Job Description:

• Responsible for maintaining the gardens and greenery in the Chinmaya Vibhooti campus.
• Good knowledge of insect and pest control, fertilisers, seasonal and perennial plants and planting in the right place.
• Ensure that grass-cutting, weed control and leaf-raking activities are carried out regularly. The entire area must be kept clean and tidy.
• To ensure that all garden equipment is correctly maintained and serviced.
• To monitor the work of the gardening contractors and ensure that their service is as per our requirements.
• To maintain boundary areas to ensure that forest fires do not cross over to the campus.
• Should have a good eye for aesthetics and should be able to design and develop green areas as per the requirement.

Requirements:

1) Degree in horticulture

2) Should have 8-10 years experience of managing the horticulture function in a large township/organisation (campus area of at least 50 acres)

3) Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, computer-literate.

4) Strong planning and troubleshooting skills.

5) Fluency in Hindi is a must. Basic proficiency in Marathi would be an added advantage.
