About Gunvati J. Kapoor Medical Relief Charitable Foundation
The Gunvati Jagan Nath Kapoor Foundation supports programs in Health Care, Community Empowerment and Education with an intent to improve and sustain the standard of living and quality of life of all people with a focus on Women and Children.
The Foundation guides on-treatment cancer patients in three hospitals within India, encouraging them to sustain treatment and reducing the abandonment rate.
It also encourages women from underserved communities to make informed choices about their health by conducting 'Cancer prevention and Early Detection' and talks on Maternal Health through 'Maatrutva'.
The young and bright minds of the 'Institute of Chemical Technology' and 'G.N. Khalsa College' were benefitted with the scholarship and professional development since inception.About the Program & Role Description
The Foundation initiated the
Patient Guidance Program in November 2013.
The goal of 'PGP program' goal is to help cancer patients access the resources they need while undergoing treatment and decreasing treatment abandonment rate.
To ensure that the patients finish their treatment, our staff helps with documentation assistance, financial guidance and aid, accommodation guidance and aid, cancer education, individual support sessions, patient advocacy and directing patients to hospital related resources.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to coordinate with various beneficiaries and execute the project in order to deliver high quality and effective output
Job responsibilities:
- Guide and counsel, the patients and their caregivers.
- Conduct need assessment; create indicators and/or any survey in the departments.
- Network and work closely with the doctors, staff and other stakeholders of the hospital for providing prompt service.
- Conduct regular periodical meetings with the stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of the project.
- Maintain and analyse data for further monitoring and evaluation.
- Provide training to team if needed
- Guide and monitor the work of the team members
- Ensure the objectives and goals of the program are met.
- Maintaining a database of patients helped.
- Start up support programs
- Maintain reports and other documentation and submit the same to the management on regular basis
- Any other task as assigned
Essential Criteria:

- Fluency in Hindi, English, Marathi
- Critical Thinking
- Good communication skills
- Networking and Mobilisation skills
- Team work
- Knowledge of MS Office
Salary:
₹28, ₹30,000.00 per month
