Description
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) in the Edtech (Education Technology) industry, the job description (JD) typically includes the following responsibilities and qualifications:

  • Identify new business opportunities by researching market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the company's products or services to educational institutions, teachers, and students.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, colleges, universities, and educational organizations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and generate leads.
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide product demonstrations and training sessions to clients as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the education or technology sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of educational technology trends and products.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.

Salary:
₹80,000.00 per month
