  • The R2R (Record to Report) Genpact teams provide supports for Client Global Ops Finance Europe's closing of the books of client affiliates across 31 countries in contact with the local/regional business controllership teams. Services scope includes preparatory and closing activities in Compensation & Benefit, Treasury, Commercial, Supply Chain, Other Asset and Liabilities, Cash&Banking, Payments, Closing & Reporting, Intercompany areas. This is a great opportunity to have a complex overview of accounting of global company._
  • Responsibilities_
- _Manage and perform US GAAP general accounting activities on behalf of local client Businesses_
- _Perform activities required for month-end closing (preparing and posting Manual Journal Entry, running reports, performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliation according to the respective business deadlines_
- _Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliation according to Genpact/client Policies_
- _Build and maintain good working relationship with the local operation and controllership team_
- _Support the statutory team providing details for preparation of statutory accounts for the respective client Business_
- _Support to be provided to External and Internal auditors_
- _Understand Genpact Policies and ensure that all accounting processes are in line with Genpact regulations and principles_

  • Qualifications we seek in you_
  • Minimum Qualifications_
- _Written and verbal proficiency in English_
- _French will be a plus_
- _Accounting experience in a multi-gap environment_
- _First experience of closing the books, ideally in an international environment or in the R2R function of an SSC_
- _Ability to learn/ understand processes quickly and adhere to them accurately_
- _Flexible approach with a good team spirit_
- _Effective interpersonal & communication skills and highly professional style when dealing with client Country affiliates auditors_
- _Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics_
- _Compliance & controllership attitude_
- _Numerate with a good eye for detail_
- _Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook_
- _Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary_

  • Preferred Qualifications_
  • Desired Characteristics:_
- _First-hand experience in a big audit firm_
- _First-hand closing experience with Oracle, SAP or another ERP_
- _Fluency in other European languages is a benefit_
