Description
Day to day responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot Application and Infrastructure issues (Incident Tracking and Resolution).
  • Develop, collect, maintain, and distribute key technology metrics for revenuegenerating products in realtime and historically.
  • Create and maintain a metrics dashboard for realtime product availability status and historical key performance indicators.
  • Recommend new technology products for Infrastructure/Application Support (hardware, software, disaster recovery).
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle, contributing to Application Release and supporting Infrastructure buildout.
  • Manage and maintain Support tool sets.
  • Act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating communication between Development, QA, Product Management, Technical Operations, and Segment business leaders.
  • Develop, facilitate, and maintain bestofbreed product support tools, including run books, monitoring, and knowledge bases.
  • Work on a 24/7 Support model (3 shifts/Day model 6 am3 pm IST, 1 pm10 pm IST, 9 pm6 am IST) with shifts currently scheduled for 5 days per week.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field required, however equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Industry relevant certifications are highly desired, but not required.

Technical Skills:

  • 02 years of Cloud and/or Systems Engineering, Application Management experience.
  • ITIL Process awareness with a focus on Incident management and Change Management.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Support (Terraform preferred).


  • Operating System

  • Windows, Unix (DNS, Domain administration awareness).
  • Webservices Administration/Support
  • IIS, Apache Tomcat.
  • Networking basics and awareness of the functioning of Load-Balancer and Firewalls.
  • Web Application Frameworks (e.g.,.net) awareness.
  • Database: Support and Administration/ awareness (MSSQL, MySQL, or any other DB technology).
  • Awareness of Version Control Systems (e.g., Version 1, Git, GitHub Enterprise).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Awareness or exposure to Performance monitoring tools (e.g., NewRelic, AppDynamics, etc.).
  • Scripting Knowledge (Powershell/VB/Perl/shell scripts).
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment awareness (e.g., Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, Docker).
  • Production Support experience.
  • Certification on AWS, Windows, Unix will be a plus.
