Responsibilities:

Review project requirements and specifications to gain a thorough understanding of the software being developed.

Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on project specifications and user requirements.

Identify, analyze, and document defects, bugs, and other issues using bug tracking tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Participate in test plan and test case reviews to provide input and feedback.

Perform regression testing to ensure that defects and issues are properly resolved.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing methodologies and technologies.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing suggestions for enhancing testing processes and tools.


Requirements:

Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Knowledge of test case design techniques and defect management processes.

Ability to understand and interpret technical requirements and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.

Proficiency in using bug tracking tools and test management software.

Basic understanding of programming languages and databases.

ISTQB certification (preferred, but not required).

Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques is a plus.
