Dispatch Manager - Long Run Job description

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Dispatch Operations:
- Oversee daytoday dispatch activities, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of deliveries.
- Ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to improve productivity and service levels.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of dispatchers, providing guidance, training, and support as necessary.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to encourage professional development and goal attainment.
Resource Allocation:
- Optimize the allocation of vehicles, drivers, and other resources to maximize operational efficiency and minimize costs.
- Coordinate with fleet management to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of transportation assets.
- Anticipate and address potential issues or bottlenecks to prevent disruptions in delivery schedules.
Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to prioritize orders and resolve any deliveryrelated issues.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels with drivers and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a prompt and professional manner to uphold service standards and enhance customer satisfaction.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and service enhancement within the dispatch function.
- Proactively seek feedback from stakeholders and leverage data analytics to drive informed decisionmaking.
- Lead initiatives to implement best practices, technology solutions, and training programs to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Pay:
₹10, ₹39,948.43 per month
