    Physical Design Engineer (GPU)

    Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

    Qualifications:

    Bachelors' OR Masters' degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent .

    Experience:

    8 to 15 years of relevant experience

    Job role:

    We are looking for Graphics processing Unit (GPU IP) Physical Design expert who has expertise in one or more of following:

    Clock construction in multi clock designs.

    High instance design like >2.5M .

    Meeting very challenging power, performance (timing) and area targets. Expertise in meeting low power design goals would be a plus

    Experience on 3nm/4nm designs on TSMC/Samsung would be preferred

    Ability to anticipate / debug the design issues early in the cycle and come up with the solutions

    Responsibilities

    Strong understanding of the RTL2GDSII flow involving synthesis, place & route, CTS, timing convergence and the layout closure.

    Take ownership of one or more physical design partitions.

    Ability to meet the different constraints: Timing [of high frequency]/PV/LEC/ and power consumption of the deep submicron designs

    Good automation skills in PERL, TCL, tool specific scripting on one of the industry leading Place & Route tools (Cadence/Synopsys flow)

    Ability to multi-task and flexibility to work in global environment (PPA trails to ensure a high-quality design environment).

    Tool Experience.

    PNR : Expertise in ICC2/ FC (Fusion Compiler) & Innovus

    Signoff: Primetime for Timing, Calibre for DRC/LVS
