Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and follow design specifications to create gowns that meet our client's needs.
- Select and prepare fabric, patterns, and other materials for use in gown production.
- Cut and sew fabric pieces together using a variety of techniques, including hand sewing and machine stitching.
- Make adjustments and alterations to gowns as needed to ensure a perfect fit.
- Perform quality checks on finished gowns to ensure they meet our standards for accuracy, fit, and appearance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sewing machines, tools, and supplies.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the gown manufacturing team to ensure production deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor, with a focus on gown manufacturing
- Proficiency in sewing and stitching techniques, including hand sewing and machine stitching.
- Familiarity with different types of fabrics and their properties
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
