Responsibilities:
- Operate DRO milling machines to produce components as per specifications.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and follow manufacturing instructions.
- Adjust and set up machine tools and equipment, including drills, mills, lathes, and grinders, to ensure precision in component production.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to avoid downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and increase efficiency.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Document production data and maintain activity logs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Milling Machine Operator or similar role, with atleast 2 years experience operating DRO milling machines.
- Technical certification or diploma in Machining, ITI, or related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with the safety procedures and legal regulations of the machine operation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical demands of the job.
