Job Requirements and Responsibilities
- PhD in Life sciences with 4+ years of postdoctoral experience and has a strong molecular biology or cancer biology background. PhD and Post-Doc from a reputed national or international institution.
- Position will require to design, initiate and lead various breast cancer clinical and/or translational projects.
- Deep understanding to curate, interpret and represent data (data for clinical/ surgical breast cancer cohort).
- Organise and coordinate collaborative research projects.
- Handson experience with a database. Clinical/cancer database knowlegde a plus.
- Experience with online cancer data sets and resources
- Sound knowledge of clinical research, regulatory Guidelines, good Lab practices.
- Identify the training needs of the team to improve efficiency and quality of the data delivered
- Good command over written and spoken English
- Good interpretation and analytical skills
- A team player with leadership qualities.

Research Centre Profile:
Prashanti Cancer Care Mission, Pune has a growing Cancer research department.
In a powerful model of public-private partnership, IISER Pune and Prashanti Cancer Care Mission established the Center for Translational Cancer Research (CTCR).
CTCR aims to bring together clinicians and researchers to integrate cancer research, training, and education.This Centre is a first-of-its-kind initiative in India with world-class infrastructure and facilities for multidisciplinary training in translational cancer research.
We anticipate that the activities of the Centre will have a direct positive impact on the national capacity for translational cancer research and, most importantly, on the effective management of cancer in India.
CTCR is the leading member in the formation of the ICGA foundation. ICGA aims to build teams for multi-omics studies in Indian cancers. CTCR also has a valuable association with Persistent Systems and is initiated with a seed grant from Bajaj AutoSalary:
₹70, ₹80,000.00 per month
