About your team


General Counsel (GC) is a trusted advisor to all parts of FIL, providing high-value independent advisory and assurance expertise through our specialist teams.

GC comprises of Legal, Risk, Compliance, Tax, and Public Policy & Strategic Relationship Management.

General Counsel Shared services (GCSS) function is a global centre of expertise currently being built out in Dalian and India.

It provides operational support and services to the General Counsel function.

About your role

This role is placed in the Reporting & Systems vertical within GC Shared Services. The role will be responsible for providing functional admin support for various systems within GC.

The functional admin work includes providing system issues support for users, providing system usage training and create documentation, provisioning user accesses, perform regular data maintainenace tasks etc.

This will involve varied degree of interactions with different operational support teams, regional risk/ compliance functions, technology and vendor teams as well as general staff members across the Fidelity.

About you

  • Perform tasks such as user management (creating, adding and deleting users or business roles), global authorisations, global and custom lists.
  • Maintain and update reference data/ standard operating procedure documents.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot & resolve the issues for users.
  • Have thorough understanding of system functionality and work strategically with teams in both the first and second line of defence to ensure that all out of the box functionality is used to its greatest impact.
  • Resolve access issues and work closely with FIL technology teams and vendor support if bugs or issues arise that require technical resolution.
  • Work with the technology development and production support teams in the resolution of production issues where required.
  • Conducting business validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system releases.
  • Stakeholder Management and Interaction with Head of Departments.
  • Issue prioritization and Risk Management.
  • Dashoard creation in PowerBI, tool creation in PowerApps and knowledge of MS tools (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc) is nice to have.
