The Role (Describe the role):

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Develop test scripts.
Perform API testing
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate TC into the development process.
Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks to support functional, regression, and performance testing.
Execute test cases and analyse test results to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Participate in test case design, test scenario creation, and test data preparation for testing.
Collaborate with senior QA engineers
Contribute to the integration of automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in test automation and seek opportunities for skills enhancement.
Collaborate with team members to document test automation processes, procedures, and best practices.

Essential Requirements:

Testing Experience:

Hands on experience and understanding of API testing principles, including RESTful and SOAP APIs, along with experience in designing and executing API test cases, validating response data, and handling authentication mechanisms.

Analytical and Problem-

Solving Skills:

Good analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in automation scripts, along with the ability to analyse test results and identify areas for improvement.

Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers.

Domain knowledge

Having knowledge on way ecommerce works will be an added advantage
