    About the Business:

    Technical Services:

    Electrical systems need to be safe and reliable to ensure critical processes in industries run without interruptions. Yet, they invariably experience outages due to tripping and equipment failures. Proper design, periodic health analysis of equipment, study of the interplay between various equipment in the system under varied operating conditions are necessary & essential to ensure safe and reliable system operation.

    We deliver all services related to the electrical system to proactively ensure system reliability, find the root cause and suggest corrective action.

    Your Profile:

    If you have a passion for solving engineering issues, penchant for learning more and work with inspired teams, have the following requirements, you can build an illustrious career in JEF-KNR.

    • Master's/ bachelor's degree in Civil and structural engineering with about 15 years of experience in the design of Steel structures- Tower structures, Equipment support structures & Pole structures, the design of RCC structures like Control room building, Transformer foundations, Cable trench, Burnt oil pit, etc., associated with HV substations (AIS & the design of infrastructural facilities like storm water drain, roads etc.
    • Work experience shall also include preparation of design basis report, technical specifications, bar bending schedules and BOQs.
    • Hands-on experience in STAAD analysis and ACAD.
    • Work experience in 3D drawings will be an advantage
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and deliver on time.
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in teams and to lead work teams effectively.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
    • Good at oral and written communication

    Your Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Designing 33/220/400kVGantry Column Structure Design.
    • Design RCC structures including but not limited to control room buildings, transformer foundations, cable trenches, and burnt oil pits.
    • Design robust structures to support power transformers, current transformers, capacitor voltage transformers, and lightning arresters, ensuring stability and operational efficiency.
    • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for materials and resources required for projects.
    • Preparing Design Basis Reports
    • Design and draft detailed structural plans for lightning mast structures
    • Create detailed designs for isolator structures
    • Designing Firewall design
    • Design fire water tank structures.
    • Designing Cable Support Structure.
    • Designing and drawing the Equipment foundation
    • Preparation of As-built drawings.
    • Visit sites / clients' offices for data collection, providing technical support & presentations.
    • Manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, training, and fostering their professional development.
