Job Purpose
The Data Scientist will work under the guidance of the Lead - HUL Project and will be responsible for designing and implementing data analytics models to support the ongoing initiative of Impact evaluation of HUL's'Prabhat Poshan Saathi' at Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business.
The Data Scientist will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting complex and large datasets using statistical software to provide insights that will inform decision-making for the project.

- Collaborate with the Lead
- HUL Project and other team members to identify data needs and priorities for the project.
- Develop and implement predictive modeling, clustering, classification, and regression algorithms to analyze complex and large datasets.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform the project.
- Collect, process, and clean data from multiple sources to ensure data quality and completeness.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data insights and findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Work with the Lead
- HUL Project and the Research Assistant to design and implement a rigorous research design using advanced statistical methods for causal inference.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify data gaps and propose solutions to fill them.

Desirable Experience
Postgraduate
(Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics,or related fields)
- Have over 3 years of working experience in a similar field.
- Strong experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with advanced statistical methods for causal inference.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies and data management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
