A job profile for kitting electronic components typically involves managing and

organizing the assembly of electronic parts and materials for production or

manufacturing purposes.


Responsibilities:


  • Component Identification: Identify and locate electronic components based on
production orders, bills of materials (BOM), or work orders.

  • Material Handling: Retrieve, organize, and handle electronic components in a
safe and efficient manner to prevent damage or contamination.

  • Kitting and Sorting: Assemble kits of electronic components according to
specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of each kit.

  • Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, report shortages, and
collaborate with procurement or warehouse teams to maintain adequate stock

levels.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of kitted components, including batch
numbers, serial numbers, and other relevant information. Update databases or

tracking systems as required.

  • It Should be closely connected with sourcing, logistics and supply chain.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional technical or vocational training in
electronics or related fields is a plus.

  • Experience in electronic component handling and kitting in a manufacturing or
production environment.
Familiarity with basic electronic components, their

functions, and specifications.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately identify and organize components,
ensuring precision in kitting processes.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and use of inventory management software.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members,
supervisors, and other departments.

and kitting.
