The Position:

The Product Team is dedicated to empowering restaurants to provide phenomenal dining experiences. We do this by building industry-leading solutions that assist restaurants around the globe, run and grow their business.


We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Owner to join and lead manage initiatives in our Integrations space while collaborating with the global product management team that drives initiatives across all lines of businesses here at OpenTable.

This role partners closely with other Product Managers, who will have prioritized a set of integrations, cross-company stakeholders, and external partners to successfully deliver the integrations


We are looking for people who are driven by results, while working across agile technical teams that are aligned on goals to deliver phenomenal products that customers love You enjoy collaborating, product discovery, working with data, handling ambiguity to build a customer-centric approach, enabling automated flows to push our product direction forward.


As the focus of this area is global there could be occasional early or late meetings to work closely with our globally distributed teams.


In this role you will:


  • Build and iterate workflows and UX to increase adoption, engagement and satisfaction.
  • Own the identification of user problems, technical development, and launch of innovative products.
  • Align, and connect with UX, engineering, executives and crosscompany partners on discovery, development tracks and pivotal initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with restaurants and customers, utilizing emotional intelligence to identify any new needs or problems to solve.
  • Partner and develop deep integrations with new external partners as well as grow and maintain others.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
  • 2+ years in a product management role. Engineering background or worked through technical requirements with external partners.
  • Shipped sophisticated technical integrations, accompanying UX from beginning to end, providing iterations to improve the next project.
  • Worked on a successful hyperlocal or global marketplace and launched collaborations with multiple external partners. Recorded product videos or demoed their work to large audiences.
  • Consultation skills to gain the respect of the product across all levels and counterparts.
  • Datacentric; a deep curiosity of metrics, the ability to identify the right data and track and report back on impact.
  • Optimized tradeoffs between technical debt and new features.
  • Understanding of agile processes, lean methodology and user experience design principles.
  • Fails forward; learns from failures, not just from successes.
  • Any restaurant or hospitality experience is desired.
