    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning initiatives.

    • Treasury Management:

  • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure optimal liquidity management.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and lead treasury operations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive treasury strategies aligned with the company's financial goals, risk tolerance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and execute funding opportunities, including debt issuance, commercial paper programs, and other financing options, to meet the company's capital requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, negotiate favourable terms, and manage banking services efficiently.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies related to interest rate exposure, currency risk, and other financial risks.

    • Financial Controllership:

  • Establish and maintain robust financial controls and accounting procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

    • Fund-raising:

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies, including debt and equity financing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors and financial partners.
  • Manage an effective fundraising team that delivers fundraising income meeting set targets
  • Plan, budget, test and implement approved fundraising strategies and engagement strategies in order to reach or exceed targets
  • Bring in new funding relationships and maintain great relationships for the sustained growth of the organization
  • Timely and cost-effective procurement of funds by optimum leveraging of the assets of the company
  • Proactively manage the organizational funding requirement.

    • Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports, analyses, and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Monitor key financial performance indicators and provide insights to drive business performance.

    • Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a 48 member team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

    Qualifications:

  • MBA or relevant professional qualification - CA or CFA will be preferred
  • Proven experience of 12-18 years in progressively responsible finance roles within the NBFC sector.
  • Strong expertise in Treasury, FP&A, Fund-raising, and Financial Controllership.
  • Demonstrated success in leading finance teams and driving strategic financial initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wear multiple hats.
  • Hustler attitude with a proactive and results-driven approach.
