Inviting applications for the role of, Operational Accounting Claims, RTR -Assistant Manager
The person in this role is responsible for preparing standard to moderately complex journal entries, completing variance and flux analysis, and reconciling balance sheet accounts at the entity level. They support the month end close by completing standard close reporting, handling ad hoc post close activities, and ensuring all reconciliations and reports are accurate and compliant. The role also provides monthly support for internal controls uploading required samples and documentation, while ensuring all close, reconciliation, and reporting tasks are completed on time and in accordance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
.Prepare standard, low, and mediumcomplexity journal entries and complete variance/flux analysis with preliminary comments.
.Perform firstlevel review and approval of journals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and close reports.
.Reconcile balance sheet accounts at the entity level.
.Complete standard close reporting and support adhoc postclose tasks.
.Provide monthly support for internal controls testing by uploading samples and required documentation.
.Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all close, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
Minimum Qualifications
BCOM / MCOM/ MBA Finance
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Experience in accounting, RTR, or financial close activities.
.Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance/flux analysis.
.Experience with month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliation.
.Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) is preferred.
.Proficiency in Excel, including lookups, pivots, and basic analysis.
.Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large data sets.
.Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple close activities.
.Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
.Familiarity with internal controls, audit support, and documentation standards.
