Position:
Maintenance Officer - (Food Industry Only)

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Office - Electrical and Mechanical is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.

This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to guarantee the safety, efficiency, and reliability of equipment and systems.

The individual will work closely with the facilities management team to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Routine Maintenance:

v Conduct regular inspections of electrical and mechanical equipment to identify potential issues.

v Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on equipment such as HVAC systems, generators, pumps, motors, and lighting systems.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

v Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems promptly.

v Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems to restore functionality.

v Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.

Emergency Response:

v Respond to emergency maintenance requests and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.

v Coordinate with other maintenance staff to address critical issues efficiently.

Documentation:

v Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.

v Update maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history.

Equipment Upgrades and Installations:

v Assist in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades and installations.

v Collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed to ensure proper installation and integration.

Safety and Compliance:

v Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.

v Keep abreast of electrical and mechanical codes and regulations to ensure compliance.

Inventory Management:

v Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.

v Coordinate with procurement to ensure necessary items are stocked.

Training and Development:

v Stay updated on the latest developments in electrical and mechanical systems.

v Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Collaboration:

v Work closely with other members of the facilities management team to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks.

v Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians or maintenance staff.

Continuous Improvement:

v Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the maintenance department.

v Propose and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Qualifications and Skills:

v Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.

v Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in a facility management setting.

v Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and equipment operation.

v Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in electrical and mechanical systems.

v Familiarity with relevant safety codes and regulations.

v Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

v Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

v Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

v Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Pay:
Up to ₹300,000.00 per month
