Description

Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
Hands on experience using Unix commands, writing shell scripts, building small tools (nonnegotiable this will be assessed in the interview)
Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills, out of the box thinker, ability to connect dots when presented with disjoint data set (nonnegotiable this will be assessed in the interview)
Experience with working on opensource tools and libraries
Ability to multi task or switch context on short notice
Identify, investigate, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Working experience on scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M etc.
Detail oriented with project tracking and documentation, ability to write test cases and migration plan
Basic SQL knowledge and ability to write simple SQL queries
Understanding of existing Java infrastructure, ability to identify bottlenecks and suggest changes etc.
Hands on DevOps experience with CI/CD tools
Mentor and guide junior team members
Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs
Manage periodic reporting to give project update to the management and the customer
