Role Purpose:

This role supports the Cyber Security Team by consolidating data from various cyber security capabilities in order to turn these into meaningful insights.

This role is expected to interact with both cyber security leadership as well as the wider key technology stakeholders within LSEG.

Periodic reporting of key cyber metrics across all capabilities provided by Cyber Security.


Essential Responsibilities:
Facilitates cyber risk reporting requirements with key stakeholders across LSEG

Understand the requirement & use cases from the stakeholders and prepare the requirement documents

Build data pipeline, ETL packages to extract the information from Cyber security and other platforms

Prepare data source mapping sheet and solutioning document according to business requirement

Develop the database components to store the data and design the data dimension layer or views to consume in the reports


Analyse the data sources, address the data integrity and quality issues and do the data cleansing wherever it is required.

Develop the data models and design the reports/dashboards in Power BI

Create Power BI workspace/Row level security and publish reports to Power BI service

Configure the dataset in Power BI gateway and implement the schedule refresh

Analyse the database and reports performance and implement the performance optimization to give better user experience

Evaluates existing reports and implements continuous feedback loop and assurance processes to improve data integrity and quality

Uses tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-tounderstand formats, such as diagrams and graphs

Works with risk and control owners to define Key Risk Indicators in line with thresholds set by LSEG Management

Performs statistical analysis to predict trend in cyber security data

Continuously mines data for patterns, relationships, issues and consistency on a regular basis

Builds relationships and partners with LSEG stakeholders to understand requests, make recommendations and implement solutions

Looks for synergies across Business Units or functions and recommends process, product or service improvements

Develops innovative concepts, services, technologies or products to address current and future requirements


Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience on ETL technologies using any of the ETL tools such as SSIS,Matilian or Informatica

Experience on database or data warehouse technologies using any of the database such as SQL server, Oracle or Snowflake

Experience on visualization tools using any of the tool such as Power BI/Tableau

Experience in statistical analysis, data science and machine learning techniques.

Skill set on Data Modelling technique and SQL query language programming

Experience in statistical analysis, data science and machine learning techniques.

Skill set on PowerShell scripts, R or Python-Statistical Programming

Developing data reporting and insights to enable management decisions

Business intelligence and analytics using Cyber security domain extrapolation

Developing data reporting and insights to enable management decisions

Degree or Masters qualification in Cyber, Information Security or IT management (desirable)

Experience in creating and maintaining the documents in sharepoint/Confluence

Desired knowledge on the ITIL process using Servicenow and Agile methodology using JIRA

Desired knowledge on Data protection & Privacy policies, Risk Management Frameworks, Regulatory compliance and cybersecurity policies and standards

Ability to think analytically and critically to tackle complex data sets

Recognized as a strong functional expert within the sub-Business Unit or function
