Job Title: Azure Architect with SharePoint Expertise

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Architect with substantial hands-on experience in Azure cloud technologies, coupled with a deep understanding and practical proficiency in SharePoint. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Azure-based solutions while leveraging SharePoint to enhance collaboration, content management, and business processes.

Responsibilities:

Azure Architecture and Design: Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure solutions that meet the organization's technical and business requirements. This includes infrastructure as code, networking, security, storage, compute, and databases.

Azure Services Expertise: Possess a comprehensive understanding and practical experience with various Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, Azure Security Center, and others.

SharePoint Integration: Integrate Azure services with SharePoint to optimize collaboration, document management, workflows, and information governance. Leverage SharePoint's capabilities to enhance the user experience and streamline business processes.

Migration and Deployment: Lead migration projects to move on-premises SharePoint environments to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. Utilize best practices for deployment, configuration, and optimization of SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server environments on Azure.

Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and compliance standards within Azure environments, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Ensure data protection, identity management, access control, and threat mitigation strategies are effectively implemented.

Monitoring and Optimization: Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address performance issues, security threats, and compliance violations. Continuously optimize Azure resources for cost efficiency and performance enhancement.

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and drive project success. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Extensive hands-on experience as an Azure Architect, with a strong focus on Azure infrastructure, services, and solutions.

Proficiency in SharePoint configuration, customization, administration, and development.

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing SharePoint integrations with Azure services.

Expertise in Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, and automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.

Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and compliance standards within Azure environments.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate certification.

Experience with hybrid cloud deployments integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure and SharePoint Online.

Familiarity with other Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, Power Platform, and Power BI.
