    Description

    Position description :
    Pyxidia techlab is on the lookout for a passionate DevOps Engineer to strengthen our dynamic team.

    This position is a phenomenal opportunity for individuals eager to take ownership of our infrastructure management and are enthusiastic about DevOps automation within a vibrant and fast-paced environment.


    Key Responsibilities :

    • Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and meets compliance standards.
    • Implement comprehensive logging and monitoring for all services to ensure performance and reliability.
    • Provide oncall support to address and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability.
    • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment processes.
    • Drive automation of routine tasks to improve efficiency and minimize Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time to Detection (MTTD).
    • Uphold best practices for system security and compliance standards.

    What We're Looking For:
    A minimum of 4 years' experience in infrastructure management, preferably within a startup environment.

    • Handson experience with Kubernetes clusters and troubleshooting production issues.
    • Proficiency in AWS services including but not limited to ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, Cloudfront, and Cloudwatch.
    • Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
    • Demonstrated experience in automation and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in production settings.
    • Strong problemsolving and debugging capabilities.
    • Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like New Relic or Grafana.
    • Solid understanding of networking principles.
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, Terraform is a plus.

    Skills Needed :

    • Cloud Environment : AWS.
    • Docker.
    • Kubernetes.
    • Python, Bash or similar scripting language.
    • Monitoring tools like New Relic or Datadog.
    • CI/CD using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
    • Familiarity with Git,.
    • Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform.
