- Responsible for Provisioning, availability 24X7, reliability, performance, Security, maintenance, upgrades, and cost optimization
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python.
- Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub, build and deploy with Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with one of the Databases (Snowflake, ElasticSearch, Mongo, Redis)
- Must be an expert in Linux operating systems and knowledgeable in Docker containerization
- Strong experience in Terraform
- Respond to and resolve databaserelated incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (New Relic, Data Dog, PagerDuty)
- Implement and maintain database security policies, roles, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection law HIPAA related to data security and privacy.
- Capacity planning of largescale database clusters
- Identify and tune the longrunning queries to improve DB performance
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience is required
- Work in a fastpaced environment with the agility to change directions as per business needs
- You should have handson experience with a startup mentality in managing & troubleshooting largescale distributed systems
- Handson experience in automated provisioning and deployment of database environments
- Demonstrated experience with multicloud environments like AWS, Azure and GCP
- Good to have knowledge/experience on ElasticSearch / Snowflake / MongoDB is a plus
- Should be proactive and have the intellect to explore and come up with ideas
