Quality Inspector
Responsibilities:

Quality Control Inspections:
- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials, inprocess components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other relevant equipment to perform accurate measurements.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, documenting measurements, observations, and deviations.
- Generate inspection reports and maintain electronic and physical records for future reference.
Defect Identification:
- Identify and categorize defects, nonconformities, and deviations from quality standards during inspections.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to investigate and resolve quality issues promptly.
Process Improvement:
- Provide feedback to production teams about quality concerns and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of production processes to enhance overall product quality.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with production managers, engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment regarding quality expectations.
Quality Assurance Standards:
- Ensure compliance with industryspecific quality standards, regulations, and company policies.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Regularly calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Training and Development:
- Participate in training programs to stay uptodate with quality control techniques, procedures, and industry advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a mechanical production environment.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
- Attention to detail and exceptional visual and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaborating across teams.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies and process improvement techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical manufacturing.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fastpaced production environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
