Data analytics and execution team is part of Home Lending within CCB Risk organization.

You will be extensively involved in design and development of effective information management solutions for Modeling, Loss Forecasting and Regulatory reporting like CCAR, CECL and ICAAP with highest standards of Data Quality, Data governance and Risk Reporting.

You will drive structure and discipline around each initiative using standard project deliverables and framework, including establishing scope, and perform detailed business impact analysis in support of management decisions.

Additionally, you will partner with multiple modeling and analytics stakeholders to resolve the data issues and ensure data requirements are timely delivered, manage changes to project scope, document and complete Quality requirements, create and manage implementation plans, and participate in meetings.

Responsibilities:


  • Conducts complex data analysis to identify data anomalies and gaps and implement process improvements and changes. Responsible for delivery of critical and time sensitive Modeling and strategic processes with accuracy within agreed timelines.
  • Design, Implement and enhance Quality control monitoring process and documentation.
  • Identify, analyze and interpret data trends or patterns in complex data sets and drive root cause analysis and establish key metrics to track performance across multiple timeframe.
  • Adept at root cause analysis and interpret data and analyze using various techniques to identify anomalies and suggest solutions. Track identified data quality issues and drive resolution through constant followups and resolving potential dependencies.
  • Provide implementation support, inclusive of testing and process change management and ensure those implementations meet requirements established by Oversight and Control partners.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in any Technical discipline with 5 years of relevant experience within Banking / Financial Services / Analytics industry
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Oracle, Unix and Tableau with basic understanding of Big Data solutions ( Hadoop, Hive, NoSQL etc.). Hands on experience in Python or other general programing languages.
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
  • Good Technical, Analytical and problem solving skills with ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross functional groups.
  • Understanding of concepts and handson experience working with relational databases, cloud based platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint and VB with ability to present factbased recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way, "tell a story" with data.
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work. Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and highlevel of performance on highprofile/timesensitive initiatives.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Oracle, Unix and Tableau
  • Basic understanding of Big Data solutions ( Hadoop, Hive, NoSQL etc.)
  • Hands on experience in Python or other general programing languages
  • Basic understanding of complex ETL transformation
  • Knowledge and understanding of Banking data and processes is a plus.
