The Hybrid Cloud Disaster Recovery Product Owner will be part of a team which designs, builds, and operates the global Azure, AWS, and On-premises environments of Siemens Healthineers (SHS).

(requires 2pm to 11pm IST hours due to the global nature of the position)


Task and Responsibilities:

  • Defines Disaster Recovery product roadmap and align, execute, and track its successful deployment
  • Defines, aligns, and manages Disaster Recovery product capabilities
  • Conducts product documentation & communication for relevant Disaster Recovery offerings
  • Harmonize Disaster Recovery offerings across cloud and data center one view
  • Conduct product training for internal team and other stakeholders
  • Ensure new services can be delivered to businesses seamlessly and meet or exceed customers' expectations
  • Build working relationships with Siemens Healthineers business teams and technology teams
  • Embrace a culture of continuous service improvement and excellence
  • Stay current on Cloud industry and Disaster Recovery technology and test automation trends
  • Design, architect, and implement new Product features

Qualifications:

  • Overall 15+ years' experience in IT and 10+ years in Disaster Recovery technology implementation and DR test execution projects.
  • Experience with the implementation of Disaster Recovery solutions, such as Vmware SRM, NetApp replication technologies, Commvault, Azure Site Recovery Manager, and AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery in an enterprise environment
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Ability to communicate concerns clearly and effectively, issues to other teams
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Azure, AWS certifications along with other security certifications is a plus
  • Knowledge of ITSM and ServiceNow

Technical skills

  • Design hybrid cloud infrastructure using AnythingasaService models in Azure/AWS to provide compute, networking, storage, and security services
  • Create blueprints of Disaster Recovery best practices for a multitenant hybrid cloud environment


  • Support customer engagements

  • Work with partners on Disaster Recovery strategy
  • Implementing Disaster Recovery best practices in the hybrid cloud landscape
  • Collaborating with other architects, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless deployment of all solution from development to production such that they are correctly deployed with the right Disaster Recovery capabilities based upon impact assessment
  • Assist in designing and implementing solutions that are both customercentric, and provide the best possible experience for developers, operators, and architects while meeting Organization's requirements
  • Work closely with our partners to ensure that they have a great experience
