About Gunvati J. Kapoor Medical Relief Charitable Foundation
The Gunvati Jagan Nath Kapoor Foundation supports programs in Health Care, Community Empowerment and Education with an intent to improve and sustain the standard of living and quality of life of all people with a focus on Women and Children.
The Foundation guides on-treatment cancer patients in three hospitals within India, encouraging them to sustain treatment and reducing the abandonment rate.
It also encourages women from underserved communities to make informed choices about their health by conducting 'Cancer prevention and Early Detection' and talks on Maternal Health through 'Maatrutva'.
About the Program & Role Description
The Foundation initiated the
Community Empowerment Programme in November 2013.
The goal of 'Maatrutva' educate pregnant women from underserved communities about health care during pregnancy thereby encouraging them to inculcate health seeking behaviour in them for safe deliveries.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to coordinate with various beneficiaries and execute the project in order to deliver high quality and effective output.
The work involves going in the field in the community areas, to mobilize and deliver the project objective.Job responsibilities:
- The work involves going in the field in the community areas, to give sessions to women as well as work in coordination with ground partners to mobilize them.
- Will be responsible for implementation of project activities such as awareness talks, educational sessions about pre/postnatal care, breastfeeding, family planning, care and nutrition with women.
- Maintain follow up calls with women after completing session till the time of their delivery. Strong follow up and rapport building with the beneficiaries.
- Will assist in identifying and mapping various communities/ places, conduct need assessment, research to start new projects in the community.
- Will assist in networking, resource mapping in the areas with various organizations
- Will be responsible for collection of surveys, data, filtering of the data and data monitoring.
- Maintain reports, data and other documents and submit the same to the management.
- Will be responsible for implementing events and activities for the community.
- Any other task as assigned.

- Fluency in Hindi, English, Marathi
