About the role:
This role has two key aspects:
- Ensuring the support for the client from the Start of the Project till its completion at Go-live.
About the team:
What you will be doing:
- Reporting to the client on continuous monitoring of availability, attainment of SLAs, and Service Level Credits.
- Respond to incidents raised by the client and/or FIS relating to the Application environments and ensure that SLAs are met.
- Collaboratively develop policies, procedures, and reporting methods for Managed Services with the Application Support team
- Manage the processes required to maintain the client's Production and test environments for Application, including deploying upgrades, hotfix, and datafix scripts.
- Execute the scripts required to maintain the client's environments.
- Adhere to the policies, procedures and reporting for the Managed Testing Service.
- Help develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts based on client business scenarios.
- Assist in managing the processes required to maintain the Managed Testing Service environments, including database refreshes.
- Provide guidance and instruction to other members of the Managed Services Team.
- Maintain regular contact with the client including monthly reports and review meetings.
- Liaise with the wider Client Services and Asset Finance teams.
- Participate in data protection, security, and audit tasks.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 3+years experience
- Mandatory knowledge of Windows Servers, IIS, and any Azure components.
- Mandatory knowledge of Public, Private Networking. Azure Networking knowledge is an added advantage.
- Strong deployment/implementation planning skills
- Azure DBA Skills are added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written/verbal communication with client and wider team (English must be very clear on the phone)
- Able to establish a rapport with customer and colleagues.
- Excellent time management and selfmotivation, able to lead, direct and motivate others.
- Able to evaluate and prioritize issues.
- Awareness of Change Management procedures and ITIL processes
Bonus if you have:
- Basic knowledge of Terraform.
- Any deployment tool
- Octopus/Harness
- Any repository tool such as Bitbucket/GitHub
- Windows PowerShell Scripting
- Basic Linux Commands and troubleshooting
