SQL DBA with RDS


Job Type:
Permanent (Work from Office)**
Location: Hyderabad, Hitech City


Shift Timings
:
Rotational shift including night shift

Experience : 5+ years

  • Strong Experience in Administration of MS SQL Server 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008 R2 and 2008 on standalone and cluster
servers.


  • Ability to analyze and provide inputs pertaining to SQL Server DB architecture and Implementation Periodic monitoring of
SQL Server jobs and configure Alerts.


  • Experience in creation of logins, users, configuring permissions and assigning roles to users.
  • Experience in in place upgrade and side by side upgrade and upgrade to new hardware.
  • Implementing and administration of backup/restoration, disaster recovery and space.
6. monitoring plans by making space usage forecasts.


  • Monitoring of overall health of servers in different environments.
  • Identifications of storage issues and proposing solutions for same.
  • Analyzing data issues and providing fixes.
  • Leading team level initiatives/process improvements/automation
  • Releasing code changes and schema changes to production.
  • Direct written and oral communication with client technical team and managers.
  • Experienced in AWS (RDS, EC2, s3, instance migration/upgradation, RDS snapshot/cloning/restoration).
  • Knowledge in AWS VPC, security, DMS.
  • ITIL - Incident/Request/Change/Problem management

Primary & Secondary Skills:


  • MSSQL

  • Power-shell scripting

Salary:
₹1,000, ₹2,000,000.00 per year
