We're seeking a future team member for the role of
Lead Analyst, Control to join our
Global Market team. This role is located in
Pune, MH, HYBRID

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Description:
This position reports to Markets Group, Regional Head, Control Officer.

This position is responsible for supporting the management of the risks to the Markets Group regions and products, its employees, customers, reputation and interests of stakeholders as well as the assets of the Markets Group, in accordance with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and legal practices.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Control Testing
  • Yearround independent testing of key business controls as captured and assessed in the RCSAs
  • Thematic control reviews as required due to deep dives, specific events, industry fines etc.
  • Defining test scripts; maintenance of testing schedule and required evidence to comply with policy and framework requirements
  • Control Framework
  • Review of RCSA following Audit/Compliance/ORE/persistent red KRI, to assess whether control is designed/operating effectively, and determine any rating changes in the RCSA
  • Tracking of open Audit/Compliance/RCSA gaps and actions to ensure on target and reconcile to Audit & Compliance reporting
  • Assist in coordinating Marketswide reviews required for the SA/NV relevant risks and controls or driven by the NBB (National Bank of Belgium) and the ECB (European Central Bank)
  • Reporting
  • Develop & maintain reporting for Markets/Legal Entity HLA (High Level Assessment), Conduct &Non-Financial Risk Councils, Business Risk Committee etc. showing overall state of health of businesses
  • Mentoring and training Junior analyst in the team and performing quality check on the work performed by the analysts

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • The incumbent's responsibility is to be knowledgeable of all Markets Group products including FX, Fixed Income & Equities, Securities Finance, Liquidity Services & Segregation. In addition, it requires knowledge of the risk and control framework (RCSA) as well as best practice on documenting, maintaining and testing controls.
  • Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in finance, business administration or related discipline.
  • 25 years of relevant financial, operation and/or risk experience.
  • The incumbent must have knowledge of Markets products and capital markets operations.
  • English and languages appropriate to assigned region. T
