Your new role challenging and futureoriented.**Energy, Siemens Limited India is seeking a responsible, professional, and selfmotivated individual to fill this position in the Materials Technology department of Gas Turbines Product development group as Database engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Maintain Material Center database functionalities including accessibility of data via webinterface and Material Center Explorer
Support the upgrade of Material Center (database and software) and ensure version compatibility.
Managing user accounts (create new accounts as per request, delete/disable stalled user accounts)
Maintenance of material property data structures (including adding, modifying, removing data structures such that all required material data properties and material model data plus pedigree information can be stored in Material Center database)
Maintain Computational Solver Specific CAEcard creation process within Material Center by means of Java script and execution CAEcard creation for requested materials. (Generate new CAEcards based on user/team request).

We don't need superheroes, just super minds:

Engineering / Science undergraduate degree with solid understanding of managing database's.
Minimum 5 years as a professional software developer/database engineer
Exposure to engineering domains such as aerospace, power generation, heavy industries would be an advantage
Software configuration management using GiT
