Position Overview:


An Accounts Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing support in various accounting activities within an organization.

This role involves assisting in the preparation of financial statements, monitoring budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.

The Accounts Executive typically reports to the Finance Manager.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records, including invoices, receipts, payments, and general ledger entries. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented and classified.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable invoices, review vendor statements, reconcile payments, and manage relationships with suppliers. Handle accounts receivable tasks, including generating invoices, tracking customer payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into financial performance, trends, and variances. Help identify areas for improvement and costsaving opportunities.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting process by gathering relevant financial data, assisting in the preparation of budgets, and monitoring actual performance against budgeted targets. Contribute to financial forecasting by analyzing historical data and market trends.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the reconciliation process.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support.
  • Taxation: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential taxsaving opportunities.
  • Financial Systems and Software: Utilize accounting software and financial systems effectively to record transactions, generate reports, and streamline financial processes. Collaborate with the IT department to resolve any systemrelated issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues from different departments, such as procurement, sales, and operations, to gather financial data, address queries, and provide financial insights. Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in accounting and finance. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial operations.

SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as an Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and standards.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
