Job Description Reporting to - Director of Sales Development**NielsenIQ is seeking a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to manage, develop and grow qualified lead volume and sales pipeline.
This role is primarily responsible for the introductory stage of the sales cycle:1) Qualifying inbound inquiries to determine sales readiness.
3) Supporting in-person and virtual events via pre
- and post-event outreach. This role is often the first touchpoint for prospects interested in NielsenIQ solutions and will set the tone for the sales cycle following. Professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellent communication are key characteristics to be successful in this role.
This role offers high growth potential for consistent performers across many roles in the business.
Accountabilities:
- Effectively pitch products and solutions to key decision makers demonstrating how NielsenIQ solutions can meet their requirements
- Respond to and effectively qualify inbound leads in a timely manner to assess sales readiness
- Support the success of marketing sponsored inperson and virtual events
- Drive daily, weekly and monthly activity against cadence plans to prospect
- Maintain accurate CRM records of all lead and prospecting activities
- Build relationships with aligned sales team members to nurture leads through opportunity
Qualifications:
- 3year university degree plus at least 2 years of sales or complimentary experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional experience on a customerfocused team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent researching and problemsolving skills
- Experience preferred with tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Exceptional ability to actively listen and effectively communicate
- Team player that exhibits a positive attitude
- Detail oriented, methodical and process driven mentality
- Time management and organizational skills
- Selfstarter and highly ambitious to grow knowledge, skills and career
